"We must protect the culture" - Elder Craig A. Cardon

We were fortunate to have Elder Craig A. Cardon attend Missionary Leadership Council. We discussed about the mission culture. The Australia Brisbane Mission has a culture of Exact Obedience. Elder Cardon explained that the mission culture starts with the leaders and then works its way out to the whole mission. They set the example.
We also learned the process of how we are assigned to a specific mission by revelation from God, to the Quorum of the Twelve. That same revelation is in use when President McSwain prays to know what areas to send missionaries within the mission.

We were very lucky to have Elder Craig A. Cardon come to our mission to share an inspired message about 'Who We Are' as missionaries, and also more detail about the changes in the church announced at General Conference. Because of our missionaries diligent preparation on studying Chapter 4 of Preach My Gospel, everyone was able to have their questions that they wrote down prior to the conference, answered.
