Zone Conferences

Zone Conferences!

"Behold, thus saith the Lord unto you my servants, it is expedient in me that the elders of my church should be called together, from the east and from the west, and from the north and from the south, by letter or some other way. And it shall come to pass, that inasmuch as they are faithful, and exercise faith in me, I will pour out my Spirit upon them in the day that they assemble themselves together." D&C 44:1-2

We have felt the spirit of the Lord abundantly!  It has been poured out as the Lord promises to all those who would gather in His name.  These Zone Conferences were themed with the Doctrines of Obedience, Agency (with the new schedule), setting baptismal dates, and obtaining spiritual power.  As disciples of Christ use their Agency in obedience to the laws and commandments of  God, they will see greater spiritual power to influence others for good.  The power to help others come to know God.  Zone Leaders were asked to be heavily involved to train their missionaries on being agents unto themselves.  This because of the new missionary schedule which is less structured leaving flexibility for the missionaries to tailor their schedule according to the needs of their areas.

Missionary Leadership Council

Missionary Leadership Council

These great Elders and Sisters came together in council, to receive revelation on how they can strengthen the zones in which they serve.  A three hour meeting was conducted, consisting of zone accountability, council of the councils, and a few trainings from the Assistants and President McSwain.  We know by their concerns and discussion, that they love and care for the missionaries they serve around.  They are happiest when they are doing the will of God.  The Lord has strengthened all of us beyond our own capacity.  We continue to push toward our goals for 2017!
