WELCOME ELDER & SISTER BOYCE: JULY 21, 2015

WE LOVE THE MISSIONARY COUPLES who sacrifice so much to serve around the world---but, we are biased and especially love the missionary couples who are called to serve in the 

Australia Brisbane Mission.   

The Boyce's have answered the call to serve and they arrived on Tuesday after a long flight from St. George, Utah to beautiful Brisbane.  They come with a wealth of experience and a love for the Gospel which will serve them well as they will be traveling up to Cairns to serve in the District there.  This mission will be blessed having them in its midst as missionaries, and we know they will be blessed serving here with such awesome missionaries, wonderful members and great leaders.  

....it helps having such glorious weather to work in! 

*Elder Boyce served with President Henderson in the Sunset Stake Presidency, so he knows just what he is getting into!

We love seeing the great ABM:Returned Missionaries get together for fun, food, friendships....and they even wanted us to be a part of it for some "President Henderson Counsel"

MISSION LEADERSHIP JULY 2015

Many wonderful revelations have occurred on the top of mountains and it was the top of  Mt. Ngun Ngun in the Glass House Mountain Range that our Mission Leadership Council received personal revelation and training for their next ascent in the mission.  It was a beautiful day in the Sunshine Coast and a wonderful place to be with these great missionaries.

FAREWELL ELDER & SISTER HANSEN

It is not easy to bid farewell to our Senior Missionaries; they are incredibly valuable to this mission and we are most grateful for them and all they do!  
Thank you, Elder & Sister Hansen, for your incredible service in the Australia Brisbane Mission.  They wore so many different "missionary hats":  Stake Senior Representatives, Computer genius and Developers, Event Coordinators, Ward Mission Leader Liaisons,  Food Planner & Caterer,  Teachers, Consultants, Friends, Trainers....

GOLDEN ORIENTATION JULY 2015

We are so excited to see the Golden Missionaries for our follow-up training a week after they arrive; it is amazing what a week will do!  We love spending 24 hours with them for training.  This is a very unique group of 12 missionaries coming from 8 different countries speaking 5 different languages   

(one who is a Mandarin Chinese speaking missionary from Australia waiting for his visa to Taiwan).

We are so grateful to have incredible Senior Missionaries serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission...one dedicated, hard-working couple is completing their mission and we bid them farewell.  
It is always such a difficult farewell as we have come to love these dear missionaries and feel so blessed for their service!
