There is always much to be done with the beautiful Sisters serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission, and we have some incredible Sister Training Leaders to help get it done.  

They are wonderful examples of diligence, obedience, and perseverance.  

We are grateful for an opportunity to meet together....Pday fun and focus!

WELCOME TO THE MISSION: June 2015

We welcome another wonderful Elder to the Australia Brisbane Mission....coming to us from the beautiful Vanuatu.  His journey was delayed due to the Cyclone that hit his country;  he was asked to stay and help with the tremendous needs following the devastation from the storm and came as soon as it was worked out.  We are grateful for this humble, hard-working Elder and are excited to have him serving with us!

WE LOVE OUR VISITORS: ELDER DUDLEY--JUNE 2015

So nice to have Elder Dudley come to visit...what makes this extra special is that he came back to Brisbane for the baptism of someone he taught when he was a missionary in the Australia Brisbane Mission. 

Here's the photo from the baptism in Kawana Waters.  This beautiful new member came into contact with missionaries via media referral way back at the beginning of 2013, I remember because I was trained in Kawana Waters and remember the other Elders talking about this family. Kaylee was taught occasionally for the next year and a half. When I was transferred back to Kawana Waters with Elder Nakatsu,  her partner got in touch with us to get help in his garden. We did and we formed a great friendship with the family. They continued to be taught over the next 6-8 months by missionaries that followed. They were married on the 25th May 2015 and then the following week, she entered the waters of baptism. A long journey with Heavenly Father most definitely at the helm.
Awesome to be a part of it, and great to visit quickly!

WELCOME TO THE MISSION: JUNE 2015

We are happy to welcome another "mid-transfer" missionary who will be serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission until his visa arrives and he departs for the to transfer 

Taiwan Taichung Mission.  

What a blessing for this mission to help with the Mandarin Chinese Elders.....we love them however long they are serving here. 

INTERVIEWS: SUNSHINE COAST

The Sunshine Coast Zone covers an area the size of Italy and so we decided to venture off with our daughter, Sarah, on a long road trip up the Sunshine Coast and visit the great missionaries in this Northern area.    We traveled to Gympie, Kingaroy, Kawana Waters, Buderim, Nambour with the Assistants traveling to Harvey Bay and Bundaberg.  These good Elders are a fair distance from any other missionaries and they have to be trusted to be away so far.  We love them for their diligence and dedication to the work that keeps them smiling and happy (and creative).

We cannot forget the great efforts these missionaries go to in preparing for us to visit them in their flats; they clean and organize and throw out and freshen up.  We hope that these flats are in this kind of order all of the time....maybe we will do surprise flat inspections next month?  
The Elders & Sisters in Brisbane North did a great job being ready for us and we are seeing great improvements in the overall cleanliness and order of the flats....THANK YOU!
