MISSION MIRACLE

This good man was recently baptised and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on August 23rd 2014. We met him one day about a month ago while we were knocking on doors on his street, he was outside putting his bins out and he was so happy to see us. He said he had met sisters before about 5 years ago and had wanted to meet with them but never got to because he was too busy and he worked away in mining, but he happily set an appointment with us this time around. He loves reading and studying and immediately started to soak up the words of the Book of Mormon, he loved learning about all the different people, all the "ites", and as we helped him to relate the story to life and teach him the doctrines of the gospel he told us he began to "live differently". His life began to have more purpose and direction, it was busier and happier. He was able to truly experience the joy of repentance and willingly accept the covenant of baptism. Now that he has the gift of the Holy Ghost he is excited to be able to continue to learn even more new and exciting things as he has joined a big family of people to help him along. It has been such a miracle and we feel so blessed to have been a part of it! -sister Rasmussen and sister Tama
