MISSION MIRACLE
This Sunday we were able to baptize this beautiful sister. She is from Columbia, and her whole life she has wondered what her purpose was. Or what her mission was. About 7 months ago she decided to move to Australia to learn English and find her purpose. Shortly after we started meeting with her, she let us know that she had found it. She told us a story about when she was a little girl in Columbia, she had a Book of Mormon in her house, but she never knew what it was and was never allowed to read it. And now, many years later, all she wants to do is serve a mission and help us teach others. At that time though, she was not able to attend church because of her work schedule. We had no idea what to do, but we were able to set up a meeting with her and President Henderson. He shared many things with her, but one thing that stuck out was when he shared the story of Jesus walking on water and the faith that miracle took. She just so happened to have read that passage in the Bible that morning, and was brought to tears when President shared that with her. That very next Sunday she was able to attend church by somehow switching up her whole schedule. Miracle. During the whole baptismal service she was crying, and at the end, she bore her testimony in Spanish, with an interpreter at the pulpit with her. Miracles do happen. Weeks before she was able to come to church, she shared with us a scripture she had just read in 1 Nephi 3:7. She knew the Lord would prepare a way for her to do what He commands.
