MISSION MIRACLE

We first met this family through a prompting, whereas Elder Kenney and myself were finding on the street where they live. As we were about to travel towards dinner, I had a prompting to stop and to look at the ward list, for a member whom is living in that particular area. We saw a name on the ward records, and went straight way towards her home. As we arrived, her son answered the door and told us that her mother just hurt her back; she was praying for help prior to our arrival, she then requested for a priesthood blessing, which we were able to call a member who lived around the corner who was a relative of hers.  Several weeks passed by, and we went back to their home a couple of more times, and again we were there at the right time and place, and many more miracles followed, among all that we were able to meet the rest of the family. We eventually found out that her daughter was learning with the missionaries in the Karawatha Ward where she was taught in the home of her Grandparents, and that is where she has been attending their ward. The daughter had been investigating the church for over a year, and she was to be baptized a couple of times prior to our visit. There was always something preventing her to join the church, but it was not her time. By this time Elder Packer was in the picture and Elder Kenney was transferred. And we managed to continue to visit the family; a couple of weeks passed, and we were praying specifically for all of our investigators of whom can be baptized for the month of August. We were able to pray specifically for this family to continue to find ways of how we can he and for the date that she was too be baptized, and we were blessed with the 16th of August which was a Saturday. For a couple of weeks, we had this date in mind as we continued to meet with them, but it never seemed right to talk about the date. 10 days before her baptism, on a Wednesday, that lesson, the spirit that was present was strong. As we spoke to both  about the 16th of August, everything just clicked into place, it was like everything happened for a reason.. We were able to witness the Baptism on the 16th of August 2014 and to be participants for the confirmation on 17th August 2014.. The Lord knows his ready, and according to his will, it will be done.. That is the lesson that we have learnt,
