MISSION MIRACLE

We (Sister Stanton and Sister Carter) found this great new convert whilst we were knocking doors one afternoon. He was on the phone to his mum and he didn't know who we were, so he almost didn't answer. But in the end he decided that he should.
When he answered the door, we decided to try a new approach that we had never used before. Si we said, "Hello. We're missionaries. We're looking for people who want to make changes in their life by following the example of Jesus Christ and being baptised..." He looked at us and said, "Oh... do you want to come in?"
We couldn't go in at that time, but we arranged to see him the next day, where we invited him to be baptised and he agreed to a date! :D
This great man is so sweet and lovely. He is really funny and even though he faced some challenged in the run-up to his baptism with coffee and adverse neighbours, he had a blessing, made some good friends at church and was baptised on Saturday 6th September, three weeks after we first met him. He really is a miracle. :)
