MISSION MIRACLE

We have a grand miracle! This beautiful woman got baptized on June 9, 2014! She was supposed to be baptized on June 14, but she had to leave for Japan on June 10. That baptism day was a miracle in and of itself. Right before she got baptized though, she caught a cold. She wasn't sure if she should get baptized that day. Luckily, Elder Andersen, Elder Low, and Elder Ladd got locked in the car park of the Kangaroo Point chapel, so they were able to give her a blessing when she arrived in the chapel. Straight away, she felt better.
Her growth in the church has been immense. When she first arrived in Australia, she was GQed by Elder Tribe and Elder Yan. She was then later referred to the River Terrace 3 sisters. Before she went on a trip abroad, when the sisters were teaching her, she was not sure if she wanted to be baptized. During her trip abroad, she experienced trials ranging from family problems to relationship problems to getting into a major car accident. All of these trials came all at once to her.  She told us that her car accident was so bad that she should've died in it. She told us the reason that she didn't die is because she had the Book of Mormon in the car. She believes that there is a power that came from this book that saved her. After coming back from her trip, she was sure that she wanted to get baptized. We have seen this gospel work in her life. We have seen the peace and comfort it has brought her. We have seen the mighty change occur in her. Wherever she goes in this world, she will be such a blessing to those around her.
