This is A NEW MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS. She was baptized on June 28th 2014 exactly one month after Sister Jensen talked to her on Queen Street late one night. She is from Japan and came to Australia to learn English. As we taught her she just soaked everything up. She came came to church the first Sunday in June and hasn't missed a Sunday yet. She loves to bring her friends to church with her and try to get them to meet with the missionaries. Her English isn't very good, but she loves the way she feels at church and thankfully the ward has a recent convert from Japan as well as many returned missionaries who speak Japanese who have warmly welcomed her into the ward. Her testimony grew as she learned of Jesus Christ and heard President Monson's latest General Conference address in her mother tongue. She is a gift from Heavenly Father and we feel it a blessing to have taught her.
