This happy and wonderful lady was met while tracting in our area; she was sitting on a bench near her unit. We talked to her and she told us that she is waiting for her cousin to pick her up, which was the first time that she waiting outside for a ride. She shared with us that in her religion she was taught that there is only 144,000 people that will go to heaven and be saved as stated in Revelations. She asked us if that was true. We replied and asked her if she believes that God only loves a portion of His children here on earth. She answered that God loves all of us. We gave her the Restoration pamphlet and set a return appointment. She was excited to have us come for a return appointment. After a few days we visited her and we began to share our purpose as missionaries and the wonderful message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We taught her with the great help of the Relief Society in our ward and member's involvement; participation in missionary work really helps to soften people's hearts. The plan of salvation really touched her; her husband passed away about ten years ago and this beautiful plan really gave her hope to be with her husband again and forever. Her progress accelerated and came to church, attended General Conference broadcast and Stake Conference; she really felt the Spirit and the truthfulness of the Gospel. She enjoyed the company and fellowship of the members. She was taught for about five months and accepted the invitation to be baptized. We will never forget this amazing miracle....with God all things are possible.
