MISSION MIRACLE JUNE 2016

MEMBER MISSIONARY WORK:   This last Sunday we were privileged to have the baptism of this wonderful man. He came in contact with the church through member missionary work. One member, when he would break his phone, would take it to the phone shop where this man works. Soon after meeting the young man, and a few trips later, he was given a Book of Mormon to read and pray about. 3 months later Elder Hoggan and Elder Meyers were privileged to get to meet him when an appointment fell through. They invited him to come to church two days later and he gladly accepted the invitation. At church Elder Hoggan and Elder Tonga were astonished to hear that in the 3 months since this man was given a Book of Mormon he had read it TWICE! Several weeks later we were very excited to have his Baptism on the 5^th of June 2016. When Elder Hoggan asked him how he was able to make such dramatic life changes in such a short amount of time, his reply was, “I have been able to because I now know that He is there.”
