SO MANY MIRACLES HAPPENING IN THE AUSTRALIA BRISBANE MISSION...

 

WELCOME TO THE MISSION: JUNE 2015

We are happy to welcome another "mid-transfer" missionary who will be serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission until his visa arrives and he departs for the to transfer 

Taiwan Taichung Mission.  

What a blessing for this mission to help with the Mandarin Chinese Elders.....we love them however long they are serving here. 

INTERVIEWS: SUNSHINE COAST

The Sunshine Coast Zone covers an area the size of Italy and so we decided to venture off with our daughter, Sarah, on a long road trip up the Sunshine Coast and visit the great missionaries in this Northern area.    We traveled to Gympie, Kingaroy, Kawana Waters, Buderim, Nambour with the Assistants traveling to Harvey Bay and Bundaberg.  These good Elders are a fair distance from any other missionaries and they have to be trusted to be away so far.  We love them for their diligence and dedication to the work that keeps them smiling and happy (and creative).

BRISBANE NORTH ZONE
We cannot forget the great efforts these missionaries go to in preparing for us to visit them in their flats; they clean and organize and throw out and freshen up.  We hope that these flats are in this kind of order all of the time....maybe we will do surprise flat inspections next month?  
The Elders & Sisters in Brisbane North did a great job being ready for us and we are seeing great improvements in the overall cleanliness and order of the flats....THANK YOU!

WELCOME: OUR NEWEST MISSIONARY MAY 2015

There have been a few missionaries who arrive mid transfer to the mission; this Elder was in the New Zealand MTC and did not receive his visa to come to Australia, so he was sent to Fiji to serve until his visa was approved.  The day he returned home, the visa was cleared and he boarded a plane the next day for the  AUSTRALIA BRISBANE MISSION
SO GRATEFUL IT ALL WORKED OUT FOR HIM TO BE HERE!

ON THE ROAD INTERVIEWS: LOGAN ZONE

We had some great INTERVIEWS and Flat Inspections with our wonderful missionaries in the LOGAN ZONE.  They are doing a great job!

We love the creativity and special attention to detail!

ON THE ROAD: CENTENARY ZONE

This time our travels took us to the Centenary Zone where we have some great missionaries serving.  They welcomed us with open arms and open fridges as we checked out how they are eating, what they are eating, and how they are cleaning!  The time with each missionary is so valuable and we appreciate and love these interview times!  

We even had a chance to interview our good Elder who is in the hospital....it hasn't stopped him from the work!  He has been teaching and singing to all the patients around him and has a solid investigator who will be working with the missionaries soon.  He is even teaching his therapist as they exercise...
